ApplyMantra (applymantra.com) is an AI-powered career and job-application assistance platform developed and operated by the Petal Apps team (hereinafter referred to as "Petal Apps," "we," "us," or "our").
Petal Apps is a registered proprietorship firm under the laws of India. ApplyMantra is developed by the Petal Apps team and serves job seekers by aggregating job listings, providing AI-driven resume tailoring, application tracking, interview preparation, and related career-enhancement services.

By accessing, browsing, or registering on ApplyMantra, you ("User" or "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform. If you are accessing ApplyMantra on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Petal Apps and are governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act"), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and all other applicable Indian laws and regulations.
ApplyMantra provides the following services (collectively, the "Services"):
We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service (or part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of Services.
To use ApplyMantra, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials. We may disable your account at our discretion if we believe security has been compromised.
ApplyMantra offers both free and paid subscription tiers. The features available under each tier are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Paid subscriptions ("Premium Plans") are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at the time of purchase).
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive an advance email notice prior to renewal. You may disable auto-renewal at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team.
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Any price change will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance via email and/or in-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after the price change takes effect constitutes your agreement to the new pricing.
If a payment fails, your subscription may be downgraded to the free tier until payment is successfully processed. We will notify you of failed payments and provide a reasonable opportunity to update payment details.
You agree to use ApplyMantra only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable Indian laws and regulations. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to terminate accounts, remove content, and/or report violations to law enforcement authorities without prior notice.
The ApplyMantra platform, including but not limited to its software, source code, algorithms, UI/UX design, trade marks, logos, content, and all other materials (collectively, "Company IP"), are the exclusive property of Petal Apps and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform solely for personal, non-commercial job-search purposes, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.
You may not:
You retain ownership of all content you upload to ApplyMantra, including resumes, cover letters, profile information, and any other materials ("User Content").
By uploading User Content, you grant Petal Apps a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing you with the Services. We will not sell or share your resume or personal profile data with employers or third parties without your consent, except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:
ApplyMantra may contain links to third-party websites, job boards, employer portals, and services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, privacy practices, or services. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.
We use third-party service providers for payment processing, analytics, cloud infrastructure, and AI services. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security policies. We are not liable for any acts or omissions of third-party providers.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Petal Apps and its proprietor, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@applymantra.com or through your account settings. Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund; please refer to our Refund Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or if continued access poses a risk to the platform or other users. We may also terminate the platform or any Service with reasonable advance notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP rights, disclaimers, indemnification, and governing law) shall continue to apply.
These Terms and all disputes arising from or relating to them shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may refer the matter to arbitration.
Any unresolved dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. The seat of arbitration shall be Thane, Maharashtra, India. The language of arbitration shall be English.
Subject to the arbitration clause above, the competent courts at Thane, Maharashtra (with the Bombay High Court at Mumbai as the appellate court) shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any matters not subject to arbitration.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address user concerns.
Users may file complaints related to violations of these Terms, privacy breaches, or any other concerns with the Grievance Officer. We are committed to acknowledging grievances within 48 hours and resolving them within 30 days of receipt.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email notification and/or a prominent notice on the platform at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
