ApplyMantra runs on one-time Mantra packs — there is no recurring subscription and nothing ever auto-renews. This page explains what 'cancelling' means here: how to stop, what happens to your Mantras, and how refunds and account deletion work.
This Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how to stop using paid features on ApplyMantra, developed and operated by Petal Apps, and what happens to your Mantras, billing, and data when you do. ApplyMantra does not offer recurring subscriptions — all paid access is purchased as one-time Mantra packs, so there is no auto-renewing plan to cancel. This Policy is designed to be compliant with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
We believe in giving you full control. You can stop buying at any time without penalty, and we do not charge any cancellation or closure fees.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Refund Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
Because ApplyMantra has no recurring subscription, there is nothing you need to cancel to stop being charged — you are only ever charged when you actively choose to buy a Mantra pack. If you simply stop buying, no further charges will ever be made. The options below cover the actions you may still want to take.
Do nothing. You will not be charged again automatically. Your remaining Mantras stay valid until their expiry date, and once they are used or expire your account reverts to the free plan.
If you are within the 7-day first-purchase window or another eligible situation, email support@applymantra.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Registered Email]". Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Sign in and open the Billing page to see your current Mantra balance, expiry date, available packs, and full purchase history. You can also reach our support team via the in-app chat (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM IST) with any billing question.
To permanently remove your account and personal data, follow the steps in Section 6.
Because there is no billing cycle, stopping has no "effective date" — you keep whatever Mantras you have already bought until they are used or reach their expiry. The table below summarises what happens in common situations:

You will never be charged for a "next cycle", because there is no recurring billing. Jobs you have already moved into your Pipeline keep their unlocked AI features for one year from the date you moved them, even after your Mantra balance reaches zero.

When your paid Mantras are used up or expire, your account automatically returns to the free plan. This means:
We will continue to send you essential transactional emails (e.g., account security alerts and purchase receipts). Marketing emails will be stopped on request. If you wish to stop all communications, you may delete your account (see Section 6).
You may buy another Mantra pack at any time from the Billing page. Your Mantras are credited immediately upon successful payment, and your previous data — including resumes, application history, and preferences — remains intact and fully accessible. Buying again before your current Mantras expire combines the balances and extends your expiry to the later of the two dates.
Buying again does not restart the 7-day first-purchase refund window described in our Refund Policy if you have already used it; that window applies only to your first Mantra pack purchase.
Simply stopping your purchases is different from deleting your account. If you stop buying, your account and data remain (on the free plan); only future purchases stop — and those only ever happen when you initiate them.

This data handling is consistent with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
We do not provide cash refunds for unused Mantras outside the situations described in our Refund Policy (such as defective or undelivered service, or the 7-day first-purchase window). Unused Mantras simply remain valid until their expiry date — there is no monthly or annual plan to forfeit.
Packs purchased under a special promotion or at a discounted rate are subject to the same terms as regular packs. Any future purchase will be at the prevailing price unless a new promotion is available at that time.
There is nothing to pause — because there is no recurring billing, you can stop and resume whenever you like. Your Mantras simply wait in your account until you use them, up to their expiry date.
If ApplyMantra is required to suspend its services due to events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government orders, or force majeure events), we will extend the validity of your affected Mantras or provide a pro-rated refund of your unused Mantras for the affected period, consistent with applicable Indian law.
